Some people may see certain areas of their exterior walls only a few times a year. They may not even think about painting the exterior until they receive an HOA notice. At that point, there may be damage to the home or leaks causing other problems.
As I’ve learned, there are no shortcuts to first-rate interior painting. However, if the walls are strewn with cracks and holes, a great paint job requires another skill. Skim coating requires applying the compound to the cracks and fissures so the surface is even and smooth.
Commercial painting covers larger-scale paint jobs such as restaurants, office buildings, and stores. While apartment, condo and HOA’s are residential in nature, commercial painters also work on these multi-family residences.
